MicroCharts 2 Released
MicroCharts 2 makes chart creation and formatting much easier, introduces new chart types and the new Premium Edition supports Access, Word and PowerPoint.
Preconfigured chart templates
The new Chart Type
dialog box has a set of preconfigured chart templates. This allows you to
create a chart with four mouse clicks.

chart type, the Area chart
The Chart Type dialog
now offers an new chart type, the area chart. Its shaded chart area allows you
to emphasize the absolute values and the overall trend and pattern.
Support
for Access, Word and PowerPoint
MicroCharts 2
introduces the Premium Edition for Microsoft Office power users. The Premium Edition has
all features of the Professional Edition plus support for Access, Word and
PowerPoint. Users of MicroCharts Professional can
upgrade to the Premium Edition for $ 49.

A second reference
value allows you to set up a second target value. Live Preview shows you the
results of an formatting change in a preview pane.
Excel 2007 Rich color
picker & Support of the Ribbon UI
In Excel 2007 the traditional menus and toolbars have been replaced
by the Ribbon — a new device that presents commands organized into a set of
tabs. MicroCharts 2 will provide you with a state-of-the-art Ribbon UI. Excel
2007 supports up to 16 million colors. The new color picker helps you to pick
the appropriated color from a set of preconfigured , best practice color
palettes.
